[RTHK.HK] James Ross of Lightning International, David Smith the Chairman of publisher’s industry association SOPA and Denise Tsang, Senior Business Reporter from the SCMP talked to us about the latest trends in the publishing industry.

“Organizations that are just reporting hard news are facing tough times,” said David Smith. “Publishers really have to figures out what their audience is looking for. Increasingly it’s about opinion and analysis.”

Denise Tsang said the trend is shifting to enterprise reporting. “We look more actively for stories rather than relying on what comes to us from the newsroom.”
